Cable excavations & duct installation

Hand-dig and machine excavation around live utilities, with duct installation to the spec your DNO or ICP has signed off.

We take PAS 128 survey drawings as the starting point, not the final word — and always prove before we dig. Hand digging within 500mm of live services, vac-ex where it's appropriate, machine out only where it's safe to.

Open-cut trenching for electric, water, gas and telecoms — across streetworks, sites and rural runs.

Utility duct laying

Duct banks laid clean, straight and to the right bend radii, with draw pits and chambers built for whoever pulls cable through next.

  • Single-way through to 12-way duct banks
  • Pre-cast draw pits and block-built cable chambers
  • Sand bedding, GRP cable protection tiles and marker tape
  • Swept bends and mandrelled ducts — tested before backfill
  • As-built drawings handed over with NRSWA ticket

Full NRSWA reinstatement

Permanent reinstatement of footways and carriageways, done to HAUC standard by crews who actually enjoy finishing a job properly.

Tarmac & asphalt

Hot-laid binder and surface course, joint sealed, ironwork re-set flush. Interim and permanent.

Block paving

Lifted, kept, re-laid. Colour, pattern and orientation matched so it blends — no patchwork scars.

Concrete & slab

PAV 2, flag replacement and concrete aprons for depots, forecourts and commercial entrances.

High-amenity footway

Conservation areas, paved high streets and sensitive surfaces handled to HAUC SROH standards.

Sub-main and DNO supply cable installation for rapid and ultra-rapid EV chargers.

Residential driveways, commercial car parks, forecourts and fleet depots — we dig, duct, pull and joint the cable that gets power to the charger, and work with the charger installer and DNO so everything arrives in the right order.
